Track lights make a comeback

You probably remember them from Home decor magazines of the 80s, Track Lights were excessively used in that era both commercially and in residential interiors. Now they make a strong comeback being used as a reference for contemporary, modern design.

With their practicality, elegance, and soft distribution of light across longer distances using only one electrical box like regular lighting fixtures use, they gain more audience.

Basically, they can be used to illuminate a certain wall or feature in your room, giving it a “Museum effect” to highlight it. Moreover, they can be used to distribute general illumination, simply depending on the requirements of your space.

Apartment Renovation in Stockholm

A medium-sized 66 sq.m. apartment was the location for this new project of Motif №39. The design proposal was inspired by the client´s personal collection of Gösta Adrian-Nilsson´s art, as the conceptual idea was to travel back in time to the epoch when the artist was active, borrow certain interior design expressions from that time and reuse them in a new, modern appeal. The result was a mixture of Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian Style, with focus on classic design, neutral/ earth-toned palettes and relaxed feeling.

Minimalistic Living Room Dream

One of Motif №39´s latest projects was designing the interior of a living room in a modern minimalistic, Scandinavian style using a monochrome palette of different tones of dark red, accentuated by neutral colours. The furniture options were simple, modern and of neat designs, with possibility for having both a lounge seating zone and a dining table for 3 people in one corner.

A medium sized living room with many potentials!

Lodge in Lithuania

Touristic Lodge in Lithuania

In a beautiful and serene natural environment, our client required a minimalistic touristic compound. Inspired by nature´s elements, neutral earthly colours, and Scandinavian design, the Compound included different residential units and a separate Spa/ Sauna unit, that all adhere to possible needs of its visitors with minimum impact on area and natural surroundings.
